Oh Tracy Cress, where do I begin? Something about Kelechi's story grabbed my heart and squeezed it. As a gay Jamaican, still living in Jamaica, I dream about my escape, to a place where I can be myself love myself, love who I want and be loved safely. Marley is safety wrapped up in a wonderful foreign butch bow. The care and concern and genuine love that she shows Kelechi, the bravery Kelechi had to portray to be herself and choose herself.
